Behind the scenes

Behind the scenes and promotional images for the documentary film Amado con Miedo, directed by independent filmmaker Krist Muñoz-Malavé. Through a series of interviews of his own family members, Krist explores the complexities of male relationships in hispanic families in the context of a Puerto Rico still grappling with the consequences of the Covid pandemic and the destruction from Hurricane Maria. These images were captured on medium format film all over the island, notably Dorado, Santurce, El Yunque, and San Juan.
